Context on Effective Altruism for Mental Health Providers
Julia Wise (a community liaison at the Centre for Effective Altruism) and Damon Sasi (a therapist involved in the Effective Altruism community) have put together a guide for mental health providers whose clients are involved in the Effective Altruism movement. The guide (accessible here) is kept short (only 4 pages) and provides a brief description of what Effective Altruism is, and what is and is not considered as a normal approach to life through the lens of the philosophy behind Effective Altruism.

Effective Peer Support (Rethink Wellbeing)
Effective Peer Support is a peer support program designed to help you improve your productivity and well-being through application of psychological techniques proven to be the most effective in increasing resilience, productivity, and quality of life while reducing and protecting against anxiety, depression, and stress. The program pairs applicants with 5-8 like-minded EAs who all meet for 1:1s for 4-8 weeks. Effective Self-Help (ESH)
Ben Williamson is currently piloting Effective Self-Help (ESH), which is currently a series of articles he will be releasing over the course of the next few months. The first articles in the series are on effective ways to improve sleep and reduce stress. ESH is something Ben intends to develop into a resource for the best guidance for individuals on improving wellbeing and productivity.

Meditation Training for Effective Altruism
Oliver Bramford, a an EA Mindfulness & Meditation Teacher, set up Meditation Training for Effective Altruism to help EAs cultivate compassionate wisdom and use it as a core guiding principle of emerging power structures, global governance and transformative AI. An Introduction to Mindfulness course is available, and newsletters containing EA-informed meditation offerings and news are sent out on a monthly basis.

The EA Off-Roads project was set up by Gavin Leech and Damon Sasi to help people experiencing executive dysfunction and struggling at university.
